SendBulkSMS keeps as little as it can to run the service. This page lists what that is and why.

Your account

A one-way hash of your account key, the last four characters of it to help you recognise it, a hashed network address and the device type at sign-up, and the time of your last visit. No name, email address or phone number is needed to have an account.

Your messages

To send and report on messages we keep the recipient numbers, the text, the country, the segments, the price and the status of each message. You see the same data in your campaign reports.

Payments

Top-ups go through a crypto checkout. We keep the amount, the status, the coin and network, and the transaction reference so your Billing page and our books match.

Cookies

One cookie keeps you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party analytics.

Who sees the data

Recipient numbers and texts are passed to the networks that deliver the messages, and only for that purpose. We do not sell or rent data to anyone.

How long we keep it

Account and billing records are kept while the account exists and as long as bookkeeping requires. Message records are kept so your reports stay complete; you can ask through support to have old campaigns removed.

Security

The site runs only over HTTPS, keys are stored as hashes, and access to the servers is limited to the people who run the service.

Your choices

You can ask through support to see, correct or delete your data, or to close your account.
